The exhibition introduces visitors to the full story of the Marathon which has served for centuries to inspire its participants and their followers to reach for new heights, rally around and support fellow runners, and aspire to a better world for humankind. Starting at the National Hellenic Museum the exhibit will next travel to a variety of venues including marathon expos and historical societies. Each major topic is represented by an iconic runner integrated with a free standing exhibit panel utilizing environmental graphics, historic illustrations and photographs, simple non-digital interactives and takeaways. The exhibit can be installed in several configurations.
